1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Costr (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Service Description
Costr is an intelligent LLM routing proxy that routes API requests to suitable language models based on task complexity. We act as an intermediary between you and third-party LLM providers.
3. Account & API Keys
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and API keys. Do not share your API keys. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
4. Billing & Payment
Usage is billed on a prepaid credit basis via Stripe. You purchase credits in advance and they are consumed per token at the tier rate you select: Economy $3/MTok, Standard $12/MTok, Premium $25/MTok. Credits do not expire.
5. Usage Limits
Requests are limited by your credit balance. When your credits are depleted, requests will be rejected with a 402 status. Add credits to continue using the service.
6. Prohibited Use
You may not use the Service for illegal activities, generating harmful content, attempting to reverse-engineer the routing algorithm, or abusing the API with excessive requests beyond your plan limits.
7. Data Handling
We route your requests to third-party LLM providers. We do not store prompt content or model responses. We store metadata such as request counts, token usage, and costs for billing and analytics. See our Privacy Policy for details.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided as is. We are not liable for the quality, accuracy, or availability of third-party LLM providers. We strive for 99.9% availability on paid plans, but do not guarantee uptime.
9. Modifications
We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
